AI visibility audits and fixes for San Diego businesses

In short: the AI Visibility Audit measures whether ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude recommend your business when customers ask, explains why or why not, and lists the fixes in order. $400, with a written report and a walkthrough call.

What the audit measures

I build a set of questions from what your customers actually ask: the best in your city, your specialty, the areas you serve, your name. Then I run them on every major assistant and score every answer: named, your company named without you, or absent.

The split that matters

One overall number means little. What matters is which questions produced it. Most businesses do fine when someone asks about them by name, and are absent when someone is shopping. The audit separates the two, because they have different fixes.

What you get

  • Every answer scored, on ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude
  • Who gets recommended instead of you, counted across answers
  • Every public profile checked by hand: what it says, what it's missing, where it contradicts the others
  • The specific reasons you're not chosen, quoted from what the machines are reading
  • A prioritized list of fixes, including the ones you can do yourself
  • A written report and a call to walk through it

See what a report looks like (sample PDF). It's a composite. No real client's numbers or names appear in it.

90-Day Visibility Sprint

The fixes, done for you. $750/month for three months.

  • Structured data on your site, with every profile linked as one entity
  • Credentials and specialties stated where machines can read them
  • Pages for the locations and specialties you actually serve
  • Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster setup, sitemap and indexing
  • A review campaign on the platforms assistants check
  • A report every month, and a full re-measure against your baseline at day 90

If you don't control your own website, I'll say so in the audit. A Foundation Build ($1,500) gives you one you own.

Ongoing tracking

$300–500/month after the sprint. The same questions re-run every month, trended against your baseline, content kept current, reviews managed.

Findable versus chosen

Findable

Getting into the index

Sitemap, Google Search Console, Bing, IndexNow. Plumbing that lets search engines and AI systems read your pages at all. It shows up in weeks.

Chosen

Getting recommended

Credentials stated clearly, reviews, structured data, and the same facts on every profile. What decides whether you're the name that comes back. It takes longer, and nobody can put a date on it.

Questions

What is AI visibility?

Whether AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Google's AI Overviews name your business when someone asks them for a recommendation. The work of improving it is also called generative engine optimization (GEO) or answer engine optimization (AEO).

What does the $400 audit include?

Live checks of the questions your customers ask, across ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude, each scored. Every public profile verified by hand. Who gets recommended instead of you, counted. A written report and a call to walk through it.

How long until I see results?

Indexing changes show up in weeks. Being recommended takes longer, and I won't put a date on it. These systems aren't predictable. What you get is a baseline and a trend against it.

Do I have to buy the sprint after the audit?

No. The report lists the fixes in priority order, and plenty of them you can do yourself. The baseline number is yours either way.

What is structured data, and why does it matter?

A web page is written for people. Structured data (schema) is the same facts written again in a format built for machines, where nothing has to be guessed. It doesn't make you rank higher. It makes you legible, and it ties your scattered profiles together into one entity an assistant can recommend by name.

Find out where you stand

Tell me your business and city. I'll run a handful of the questions your customers ask AI assistants and send you what came back, with a note on what stands out. Free, and no obligation.
